...well let’s see how it goes? I’ll be damned if I know.
As you are going to quickly find out, I’m no writer (is it contradictory writing that?), I have no past experience, poor grammar, a tendency to write as if I’m in a conversation, and the irritating ability to have poor spelling even with a spellchecker?!? Good start I know. I AM however an eve player. Which means, among other things, being very good at ignoring what shouldn’t be done and going ahead and doing what you wanted to do in the first place.
So for better or worse, I, who should never have been given a keyboard, have started a blog…. this one.
To help allow the possibility of reading this, and not getting a headache, I will (for you) endeavor to keep up with the whole, paragraphs, manageable punctuation, and sentences that don’t last half a page... etc. Just keep all of it in mind when a mistake does seep through and licking a battery make more sense, I’m trying.
Ok now my ‘post grammatical mistake apology’ is out the way its tyme I get on with things.
Recently I went on a break from eve, not a new phenomena I know, and decided to go out n see the world, live life, get a girl, all that stuff!… whimsical isn’t it… However, all that time I kept an ear towards eve. I kept in touch, updated on releases, the normal, but in doing so I came across the wonderful world of the eve podcast.
Great things the podcasts, they made what I had been doing sound fun again. They talked about eve in the context I now know it to be, a dynamic multi layered world with its own heightened political system and general craziness. They introduced me to nearly every aspect of eve, most of which I didn’t even know existed; aaaand did it while I was at work bored out of my skull. (il put a link at the end to podcastness)
Anywho, they got me back into eve and here I am to stay (for a while anyway).
The last month or so I have been testing the water’s, trying to figure out what I want to do. My skills aren’t astronomical but workable and I tried a couple of new corps trying different things. Wormholes, missions, pirating, 0.0, all I just couldn’t seem to get into. Then I tried incursions, and an idea started forming in my head.
I am from NOW, not a pirate, or a trader, or necessarily a carebear. I am EvE’s newest dedicated logistics pilot.
Now I mean crazy dedicated. No ships without a shield/armor transporter and…. If I can find a corp that wont just laugh in my face…. Guns.
I have no alts and I don’t run off plex for isk, everything I do will be funded through incursions and keeping others alive.
So yeah… this blog is going to be my story of trying to go through eve as a conscientious objector O_o
